Cepha Controls provides custom-made automation and controls solutions for clients around the world. Our engineers have designed and commissioned control systems in Tasmania, Africa , Russia, USA, Australia and South America and throughout the UK and Europe.
The company was established in 1996, and is based in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, on the edge of the industrial heartland of England, Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Our expertise is in programming and configuring distributed control systems (DCSs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), operator interfaces, communications, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
The engineering team is made up from highly skilled engineers with backgrounds in control engineering, electrical design, IT design and plant maintenance. We have a wide range of skills and experience to provide a depth which is invaluable when solving problems.
Our highly specialised team has gained a reputation for “making things work” in a wide variety of industries including Water Treatment, Waste Water Treatment, Energy from Waste and Recycling plants. But our depth and breadth of knowledge has also proved invaluable to clients in other industries too - from car manufacturers to military installations.

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is to understand the customer’s requirements and then design and implement a control solution to meet these requirements and then provide a reliable and robust system.
Some clients know exactly what they need. Others know what they want to achieve, but don’t know how to get there. We have a wide range of experience and expertise to assist from the concept to the completion and also supply ongoing support.
Whether your project takes half a day or several months, our engineers will take the time to understand your requirements, to develop, install and commission a solution, and then provide all the relevant documentation plus any operator or engineering training to meet your project specifications.
Our customer-focused, non-contractual approach means more time is spent on engineering and less time spent arguing about it - saving you time and money.

We believe that stable and well-structured software is the key to a successful controls project. We work hard to ensure the control system is well tested to minimise costs and delay when the system is being installed and commissioned on site. All our custom-made solutions are based on industry-standard hardware from manufacturers such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Valmet DNA, GE, Telemechanique, ABB and Phoenix Contact.

Our Team
We tailor our team to meet your needs – choosing experienced staff from our core pool of chartered engineers, graduate engineers, safety experts and experienced maintenance and support engineers.
We encourage all our staff to keep up to date with developments in hardware and programming techniques, and work closely with leading manufacturers to get to know their new products.
All our engineers hold the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) safety card.
